Weathering Migraine Storms

gotta love this weather
It has been unusually warm here in the Northeast. when I say warm, I really mean unbearably HOT. I am so looking forward to Fall. The cool evenings, bright colors and warm scents of leaves falling. This heat is triggering migraines in even my children. Three of them last month experienced a form of headache vs migraine in the same week. I am SICK of the heat!
I have been receiving bilateral greater Occipital Radio Frequency for three years now. To say these have been a major part of my healing is an understatement. I have been living free from hospital life, with some minor set backs, for all of these three years. I have had the occassional infusion and numerous break through migraine; but for the most part I have been able to enjoy life.
It has been a long time since I've blogged about this or anything really. I am thankful for both my neurologist, who is an amazing migraine specialist and my pain team. Without them, my life would still be consistent in pain.
Wishing pain free days for you
